Heating water; water supply and delivery. - Hot water for a domestic or like supply system is heated in an open boiler such as a copper or boiling-pan L, which is connected by circulating-pipes B, C to an elevated closed tank K, threeway cocks G, H being fitted in the pipes to stop the circulation and allow the pressure in the feed-pipe A to force the heated water through the hot - water supply pipes D. The cocks are operated simultaneously by a handle I.
