Abstract

1,069,527. Phase sensitive circuits; transistor amplifying circuits. CESKOSLOVENSKA AKADEMIE VED. Nov. 30, 1964 [Dec. 4, 1963], No. 48590/64. Headings H3A and H3T. A D.C. voltage input V 1 is chopped by a switching transistor T 1 operated by a multivibrator M and the square wave output, after amplification at Z is demodulated by a further transistor switch T 2 synchronously operated with T 1 by the multivibrator so that a positive or negative output relative to earth potential is produced, according to the polarity of V 1 . This output is passed over one or other of two oppositely poled and self-biased diode gates D 1 -D 2 , and after amplification at A 1 , A 2 and voltage stepping up by transformers, is applied to one or other of two rectifiers U 1 , U 2 , e.g. voltage doublers, each having a common output terminal so that across the other terminals a differential amplied D.C. output reversible in polarity with the input D.C. is obtained.
