1,069,279. Braking rollers for a roller conveyer. GEMAG GERATE-UND MASCHINENBAU A.G. July 26, 1965 [Dec. 17, 1964], No. 31702/65. Heading B8A. The braking rollers 4, 5 of superposed and side-by-side gravity roller conveyers 3 are driven from motor 11 via chain 10, shafts 6-8, sprockets, e.g. 6d, 6e, 6f, 6g, and the chains shown. In this way, if a chain breaks, the minimum number of rollers is affected. Each drive incorporates a freewheel clutch so that, when the article is stopped the drive may continue. Motor 11 drives similar rollers 4, 5 via the chains 15, 16, 17.
