A fuel container of irregular shape for a military vehicle, tank or aircraft consists of a frame construction 33, 34, 35, 36, 72, Fig. 3, supporting skin elements 32; baffles 64, 86, 87 and attachment brackets and flanges 98, 49 being provided as shown. In a modification, Fig. 19, the frame consists of members 113, 114 having baffles 116, 117 respectively which are interconnected by an additional baffle 115 having opposed reinforcements 120, 121. For methods of making the tank and its frame members from stock together with other modifications contemplated the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown) should be referred to.
