The frame for a gully grating has means for supporting the grating substantially flush with the upper surface of one or two sides of the frame, the remaining frame sides extending above the top of the grating to form a boundary wall. The frame may be rectangular with the front level with the grating top, the back vertically extending above the grating and the sides sloped outwards from the level of the grating to the level of the top of the back. The front ends of the sides may be sloped to mate with a kerb.
