Abstract

A lorry tilt or hatch cover comprises a flexible cover 30 supported by hoop sticks 1 pivotally mounted on wheeled carriages 2 which run in tracks 8, the carriages having rollers 16 and wheels 7 to control the movement of the carriages. The tracks may be in several parts supported by end posts 19, and if necessary by intermediate posts. The hoop sticks 1 may be moved forwardly so that the collapsed tilt is supported wholly by the tracks 8<SP>3</SP> (Fig. 6) carried by the frame 20 thus enabling the rear track parts and supports therefor to be completely removed for loading purposes.
