An alloy consists of .Ga.0.005 - 0.2% .In.0.015 - 0.5% .Bi.0.02 - 3% .Pb.0.02 - 3% .Al.the remainder The alloy has a high oxidation potential and may be used for cathodic protection anodes, primary cell anodes, paint pigments, coatings, as an active ingredient in flares, as a reducing agent and in the preparation of aluminium alkyls.
