Abstract

A weight H is suspended from fixed points G by two pairs of pivoted links E, F, pivoted together at points D, and is reciprocated vertically by lateral oscillations of the points D by means of eccentrics B on a driving shaft A. The weight K is guided by a pair of vertical bars K. Springs N are located between the upper surface of the weight H and fixed supporting structure M. The mechanism is used for counteracting unbalancing forces generated by the reciprocating elements of rotating mechanisms.
