Abstract

1,065,076. Fishing net haulers. K. BJORSHOL. June 8, 1964 [June 6, 1964], No. 23724/64. Heading A1A. [Also in Division B8] A device for hauling purse seines or similar fishing gear comprises rollers 13, 14, 15, Fig. 3, driven in mutually opposed directions for hauling when the net &c. is passed over and under the rollers. Alternate rollers may be freely rotatable but as shown, the rollers are all driven from a motor (19) (Fig 2, not shown) through gears (6) contained within a casing (5) carrying the rollers on stub shafts (12). The casing (5) is obliquely disposed in the direction of haul and is mounted on a tripod bracket 3, 3, 4 by a hinge (8) (Fig. 1, not shown) whereby the casing may be swung upwardly to a vertical stowed position by a hydraulic ram (9).
