Reservoir and self-feeding pads.-In a device for spreading polishing and like paste upon floors &c., the paste is contained in a receptacle a having a wire-gauze or like bottom b covered by a piece of removable felt or flannel e ; the paste being forced through the gauze by a loose weight h. The device is moved over the floor &c. by means of the pivoted handle j. In a modification, the handle is pivoted to the weight h, and the weight may be pivoted to one end of the paste receptacle.
