Abstract
1,062,855. Coated paper, paperboard. ALLIED CHEMICAL CORPORATION. Sept. 8, 1965 [Sept. 9, 1964], No. 38429/65. Headings B2E and B2K. [Also in Divisions C3 and C5] Paper and paperboard may be melt coated with petroleum wax blends comprising (i) an intermediate or microcrystalline wax and (ii) 10 to 40 weight per cent of the blend of a polybutene-1 resin of molecular weight 100,000 to 300,000 and isotactic content 50 to 75 weight per cent. The blends may be applied to foil, parchment, kraft and glassine papers and chipboard, and the products used as wrapping materials and for making cartons.
