Abstract

The invention comprises compounds of the general formula <FORM:1062196/C2/1> wherein R1 is a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkoxy radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and the preparation thereof by condensing a compound of general formula <FORM:1062196/C2/2> with a compound of formula <FORM:1062196/C2/3> wherein R1 has the above significance and R2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, preferably in the absence of a solvent and under anaerobic conditions. Pharmaceutical compositions comprise a compound of the first general formula above or a salt thereof and an inert diluent and are in conventional form for oral or parenteral administration. The compositions have an antiphlogistic action.
