Abstract

1,058,131. Folded sheet dispensers. INVERESK PAPER PRODUCTS Ltd. Dec. 20, 1963 [Feb. 15, 1963], No. 6345/63. Heading B8P. A dispenser for interleaved paper towels has a bottom opening 21 (Fig. 2) with a central widened aperture 9, 15 through which the lowermost towel of a fresh supply may be easily gripped. The opening 21 is formed by a gap between depending flanges 8, 14 (Fig. 1) on the lower back wall 6 of a back aluminium plate 1 and lower front wall 7 riveted to the back plate 1 by rivets extending through holes 18, 20. The lower back wall 6 is riveted at 11 (Fig. 2) to triangular extensions 10 of the side walls 4 (Fig. 1). Flanges 5 hold the towels in position and visual apertures 31 indicate when the supply needs replenishing. Embossed cruciform shaped apertures 3 on the back plate 1 enable the receptacle to be nailed or screwed in position. The receptacle may have a front hinged cover 23 hinged on rivets extending through elongated holes 28, 30 and with a back lip extending over the top of the back plate 1 in closed position.
