Two - stroke - cycle engines; cylinders, construction of. - A trunkpiston B works over a stationary piston C and forms a compression pump with inlet passages A<1>, B<1>, C<2> and delivery passages A<2>, B<2>, C<3> in the two pistons and cylinder walls respectively. A lateral combustion chamber F communicates with the interior of the cylinder by means of a passage F<1> near the igniter O. The gudgeon engages bosses on the exterior of the trunk piston working in recesses in the cylinder A.
