Abstract

1,056,219. Exercising apparatus. WILL-HAV MFG. CO. June 10, 1965, No. 24569/65. Heading A6M. A hand or waist exerciser comprises a pair of axially aligned grips 10, 12 on a shaft 38 having an adjustable radially expansible sleeve of resilient rings 30 in one of the said grips 10 to obtain relative rotational movement between the said grips 10, 12. The resilient rings 30 are contained between members 50 and 24 secured on the end of shaft 35 and grip 10, respectively, inside an expansible tube 44, and are expanded by compression resulting from the tightening of a knob 72 on the end of the shaft 38 at the end of the grip 12.
