[Also in Division C3] A pneumatic tyre has at least one layer of its carcass and/or tread prepared from a composition comprising 95 to 5 parts by weight of natural rubber and correspondingly 5 to 95 parts by weight of a polybutadiene made by emulsion polymerization and having an intrinsic viscosity when measured in benzene solution of between 1 and 4. In addition other elastomers such as cis-poly-butadiene and GR-S and materials such as extender oils, fillers, and vulcanizing ingredients may be present.
