[Also in Division C1] Low drift agricultural sprays are prepared and applied by separately introducing into a coagulation zone during spraying two liquid systems, which on intermixing therein coagulate to form a thick, heavy gel-like spray mixture containing a pesticide, a herbicide a plant hormone or a fertilizer, removing coagulated spray mixture from said zone and discharging it as a spray on to a target. In the examples the two liquid systems comprise (1) an aqueous solution of sodium silicate and sodium 2,4-dichloro phenoxy acetate and an aqueous hydrochloric acid solution (2) an aqueous solution of aluminium sulphate and an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, and the dimethylamine salt of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and (3) an aqueous system comprising diammonium phosphate and bentonite and an aqueous system comprising the triethylamine salt of 2,4,5-trichloro-phenoxy acetic acid.
