Abstract

1403677 Fog dispersal FRANCE ARMED FORCES MINISTER OF 24 Aug 1973 [15 Sept 1972] 40334/73 Heading A1X A method of dispersing cloud or fog 1 consists of introducing into the cloud or fog a hydrophilic agent which comprises sodium alginate in order to promote coallescence of water droplets and their precipitation as rain. The agent may be sprayed from ground mounted devices 2 incorporating a tank and communicating vertical pipe or from aircraft using conventional crop spraying equipment or from a rocket or similar projectile.
