Abstract

1,052,805. Endless tracks for vehicles. BRANDENBURGER TRAKTORENWERKE VEB. May 29, 1964, No. 22213/64. Heading B7H. An endless track for a vehicle comprises a parallel pair of rubber belts held together by a series of steel elements 2, 8 welded together to embrace the belts. The lower elements 2 have ground engaging elements 1 and the upper elements 8 are formed with sprocket teeth 9. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the lower elements 13 are formed without ground-engaging elements, but the belts are themselves formed with ground-engaging profiles 10. In a further modification, Fig. 3 (also not shown), the steel embracing members are both U-shaped.
