An alloy has the following composition:- Cu 54-88%, Ni 10-45%; Fe 0À18-1À71% or Mn 0À18-1À71% or Fe + Mn 0À18-3À42%; Ti up to 1%. The Ti promotes high ductility in what is normally the hot short range. It may be added in the form of a 90% Cu, 10% Ti alloy.
