Abstract
1,050,253. Coated sheet material. BRITISH SIDAC Ltd. July 5, 1965 [Sept. 23, 1964], No. 38787/64. Heading B2E. [Also in Division C3] A heat-sealable sheet wrapping material is made by coating a regenerated cellulose film, which has been softened with water and glycerine, and which contains a melamineformaldehyde condensation product as an anchoring agent, with a solution comprising nitrocellulose, dicyclohexyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate modified wood resin, bentonite clay and diglycollic acid esters of C 6 -C 10 aliphatic alcohols, dissolved in toluene and ethyl acetate. Another coating composition, on regenerated cellulose film, contains in addition, isobutyl methyl cyclohexyl' phthalate, butyl cyclohexyl phthalate, phthalimido ethyl propionate and di-isobutyl tartrate. Films of hydroxyethyl cellulose, fibrous cellulose and polypopylene are also specified as substrates.
