Abstract

1, 049, 701. Textile tube holders. EDWIN FIELD & SONS Ltd. Jan. 14, 1965 [Jan. 21, 1964], No. 2683/64. Heading D1J. A textile tube holder is a one piece moulding in a resilient material and comprises a central post 12 Fig. 3 (not shown) with one or more fins 13, 14, 15 projecting outwardly therefrom. There may be one fin only subtending substantially 360 degrees around the post; or there may be two or more fins projecting in a substantially radial direction or curved in horizontal cross section. The fins may be tapered from top to bottom, the widest part being at the bottom. The post 12 may project upwardly from a base 11 and the lower inner part of each fin may be joined to said base. The moulding may be of a soft grade of polyethylene or similar flexible plastics material.
