Abstract

A container for dispensing cleansing powder comprises a frusto-conical body of plastics having an integral upper end wall 18, Fig. 2 (not shown), and an oblique face 36 adjacent the wall 18, a protuberance 38 being provided on the face 36 in order to form a dispensing opening when the protuberance, which is thinner than the body wall, is cut off. The body wall is flexible so that it may be squeezed to pump out the powder when the container is no longer full. Unfilled container bodies may be nested, Fig. 3 (not shown), a plastics base 12 being secured to each body by adhesive after filling. Labels or indicia may be embossed on the base, top, or side of the container the body of which may be blow moulded.
