Abstract

1,048,102. Transistor amplifying circuits; equalizing networks. FERNSEH G.m.b.H. June 7, 1963 [June 9, 1962], No. 22760/63. Headings H3T and H3U. In an arrangement for boosting the higher frequency components of video signals, the incoming signal at terminal 11 is split between two channels. In the one, a portion selected by potentiometer 22 is applied to a circuit comprising series resistor 23 and capacitor 24 and shunt inductor 25, the voltage across which is applied to the base of transistor amplifier 21. Base bias is provided by means of resistors 29, 30, capacitor 26 being for decoupling purposes, while negative feedback is provided by an un-deooupled emitter bias resistor 28. The output across collector resistor 27 is combined with the signal passed by the second channel, which comprises a time-delay network 13.
