Abstract

1,046,937. Staircases. N. E. NORYD. Sept. 10, 1963, No. 35618/63. Heading E1V. A staircase bracket for use in combination with strings of different inclinations comprises a downwardly-projecting portion 1 for securing to a string and integral with at least one horizontal projection 5, to support a tread and having a supporting surface to contact the string 9. The portion 1 is made up of two fork-like members 2, 3 and is in a plane of symmetry of the bracket, which is mounted on a string by a bolt in bores 6.
