[Also in Division B7] A swivel for a ship mooring consists of an axle 20 with attachment points 22, 23 for mooring cables 3, 17 at its ends and a collar 24 rotatably mounted on the axle and having diametrically opposed attachment lugs 25, 26 for cables 10, 9. In use the pull on the cables 10, 9 is taken by a thrust block 21 welded on to the axle 20, stops 27, 28 being provided to prevent the collar falling from the axle when there is no load on the mooring.
