In a magnetic switch of the type comprising a magnetic switching mechanism situated in the neutral zone formed between opposite polarity magnet systems and actuated by the approach of a magnetic member, e.g. a train wheel, which shifts the neutral zone, the switching mechanism is adjustably mounted.
