Abstract
1,045,511. Cooking doughnuts. DCA FOOD INDUSTRIES Inc. Jan. 4, 1965, No. 282/65. Heading A4D. In apparatus for the production of deepfried doughnuts a cabinet 16 is provided adjacent the receptacle 11 for the hot oil 12 and houses an endless conveyer 28 which transports the shaped pieces of dough from an entrance to an exit directed towards the receptacle, high velocity air being directed on to the upper run of the conveyer through manifold pipes 39, 40 to remove surplus flour from the dough and the flour laden air being extracted from the cabinet through a hopper 26 and separator device.
