[Also in Divisions H2 and H3] A control circuit for two alternately conducting controlled rectifiers, such as thyristors G1, G2, comprises a transformer TR2 whose primary 1 is supplied from a D.C. source +U through the transistor T of an oscillator comprising transistor T and transformer Tr1 connected as shown. Resistor R determines the frequency of the oscillator, and this resistor may be a transistor controlled by some parameter of the main circuit including the thyristors.
