Abstract

1,044,184. Endless conveyers. BAKER PERKINS Ltd. July 15, 1964 [July 26, 1963], No. 29658/63. Heading B8A. [Also in Division F4] A conveyer in a forced draught refrigerated chamber 1 comprises a pair of endless chains 4, 5, joined by cross-bars 15 on each link. Each cross-bar 15 has three upstanding corrugated support arms 16 against which complete wafer sandwiches rest on the upper conveying run. The chains 4, 5 run between guides 12, 13 on the upper run while the wafer sandwiches are supported entirely between the chains 4, 5 by an endless belt 11 to prevent any sticky material from fouling the chains 4, 5.
