Abstract

104,323. Thomas, G. M., and Maude, M. D. Dec. 22, 1916. Latex, coagulating -Rubber is coagulated naturally, that is without any addition, in an air-tight vessel such as A, Fig. 1. The cover C is provided with a liquid seal, the liquid levels on the two sides of the flange C' being equalized by means of a U-tube D, which allows air to escape. Alternatively, the flange C' may be provided with inner and outer pockets closed at the bottom, open at the top, and com. municating one with the other.
