Abstract

104,133. Mattani, A. Oct. 6, 1916. Gas hand-irons.-The base-plate is formed with a central wall 4 having flutes or grooves into which play the downwardly-directed jets of a tubular burner 7 surrounding the wall. The combustion products escape at the rear through tubes 8, and at the top by a hooded outlet. Air inlets 5 are provided near the base of the iron. The handle 3 is made hollow to keep it cool.
