In a strip fastener comprising webs 3, 4 bearing profiled ridges 5, 6 having interlocking ribs and grooves, the slider has two side members 9, 10 and an intermediate wedgeshaped partition 11, one of the sides 10 and the partition 11 having flanges 15, 16 projecting towards the side 9, each co-operating with the inner ends of the respective profiled ridge 5, 6.
