Abstract
1,037,442. Photographic objectives. WILD HEERBRUGG A.G.AND L BERTELE. April 3, 1964 [April 3, 1963], No.13950/64. Heading G2J. The objective has four air-speed members in which L 1 is a simple collective lens, L 2 is a collecting meniscus curving towards L 1 and either consists as shown of a simple lens or consists of a cemented doublet, Fig. 2, (not shown), L 3 is a simple dispersing lens in the form of a meniscus curved towards the subject, and the fourth member consists of three lenses L 4 , L 5 , L 6 arranged so that two dispersing lenses L 4 , L 6 enclose a biconvex lens L 5 , all three lenses being cemented as shown or alternatively L 4 being air spaced from L 5 and L 6 which are cemented together along surface r 9 and the following conditions simultaneously apply:- (a) 0À10 F < d 2 + 1 2 + d 3 < 0.18F / relative aperture (b) 0À16 F < r 9 < 0À28 F (c) 0À50/F < 1/r 4 - 1/r 5 < 1À20/F (d) 1‹65 < refractive index of L 3 < 1.76 and (e) 0.60 < r 1 /r 10 < 1.25 wherein the objective has a focal length F. Optical data are provided for two examples.
