Abstract

1,036,339. Glazing assemblies. ELTREVA A.G. Oct. 25, 1963 [Oct. 26, 1962], No. 42131/63. Heading E1R. A window glazing assembly comprises a glazing bar 5 of U- or L-section, adjustable towards the pane 4 sealed in a putty bed 3 in a frame 1, 2, by means of one or more rotatable cams devices 7 mounted on the frame adjacent the pane to contact with the bar 5 and to move the bar towards the pane by pressing thereon, and having at least one cylindrical part 14, as well as the cylindrical part carrying the cam 7 which cylindrical parts are gripped by longitudinal ribs 12, 13 of a cover strip 10, 11 at opposed locations of the parts 14, 7. The cam may be a spiral surface or a flat on a cylindrical surface. The cam may be mounted on the frame by a part 16 co-operating with a dove-tail groove 17. The ribs may both be on the horizontal leg of the cover and with an L-section bar the rib 12 may be of longer dimension than that shown, with a groove engaged by the disc part 14, so that it is engaged by the upper and lower surfaces of the disc.
