Abstract

A circuit for emitting a single clock pulse following the operation of mechanical contacts comprises an AND gate E1 responsive to the coincidence of clock pulses P1 and a signal at T derived from the contacts, the gate E1 triggering a bi-stable circuit A1, the output of which is used to gate a clock pulse P2 from a train displaced in phase from P1. The output at S1 is thus unaffected by bouncing of contacts feeding terminal T. Further AND gates E4 ... E7 may be provided to feed single pulses on lines S2 ... S5 from clock pulse trains P2, P3, P4. The system may be reset by feeding a signal derived from mechanical contacts via terminal R to a bi-stable circuit B1 and an AND gate E3.
