Abstract
103,305. Geuze, L. Jan. 7, 1916, [Convention date]. Hopper and plunger machines.-Turnings &c. are consolidated in a heated condition. A ram 3 feeds the turnings through a hopper 2 into a continuous furnace fitted with a reciprocating ram 4. The heated scrap is compressed and trimmed at 7 by a ram 6, and the consolidated mass is ejected by a laterally-moving ram (not shown).
