1,031,761. Fuel cells. UNITED AIRCRAFT CORPORATION. Feb. 28, 1963 [Feb. 28, 1962], No. 8043/63. Addition to 1,014,569. Heading H1B. The output voltage of a fuel cell is controlled by sensing the temperature of the cell and regulating the amount of excess fuel circulating round the cell, a heat exchanger and a condenser so that the heat exchanger is by-passed to the required degree to keep the temperature constant. The system is a modification of that disclosed in Specification 1,014,569 in which the temperature is assessed by monitoring the output voltage of the cell.
