1,031,242. Conduits in floors. H.V.E. (ELECTRIC) Ltd. Feb. 20, 1963 [Feb. 22, 1962], No. 6916/62. Heading E1S. [Also in Division H2] A conduit for cables, heating elements &c. in a floor 18 has side walls inclined inwardly at 6 and outwardly at 7 or outward projections or grouting bars for keying in the concrete of a floor and a cover plate 4 resting on the lips 7 and apertures 12 in the side walls for the cables &c. The cover plate 4 is secured by screws 15 engaging in plates having radiused ends engaging under the projecting part 6 or the screws may screw into the bottom of the conduit. The plate 4 is tapered in thickness to each side and the conduit may be used under the threshold of a door.
