The tank of a tank vehicle is divided by a number of longitudinal partitions to form separate compartments. This division may be made by placing one or two circular tanks in an oval or ovoid section tank or by attaching two side tanks such as 14, 15 to a circular tank 10, the spaces 20, 21 serving as conduits for heating pipes. The tank may be covered with a heat insulating layer 16.
