Abstract

Compounds of the formula <FORM:1026925/C6-C7/1> where Rf is a C3- 14 perfluorinated alkyl radical are prepared by the electrochemical fluorination of the corresponding 4-alkylmorpholines, e.g. in liquid HF in a cell containing an electrode pack of alternating iron or nickel cathode plates and nickel anode plates.ALSO:The invention comprises compounds of formula <FORM:1026925/C2/1> where Rf is a C3- 14 perfluorinated normal or isoalkyl radical; and their production by electrochemical fluorination (see Division C7).
