[Also in Division G1] A Bourdon tube 11 connected at 12 to a fluidpressure supply, such as a lubricating oil or cooling water supply to an engine, is distorted by the pressure variation to actuate, through a roller 19 and arm 18, a micro-switch 13, pivoted at 14, connected in an electric circuit to an audible or visible alarm. The switch 13 may be replaced by a valve controlling a pressure fluid operated alarm or engine cut-off means.
