Abstract

1,025,246. Pick-up arm supports. S. KOROBUK Ltd. Jan. 21, 1965 [Oct. 21, 1963], No. 41523/63. Heading G5R. The end of a pick-up arm 1 is secured to a generally flat plate 11 provided at its edges with two slots 12 (not shown), the rear edges of which are adapted to engage V-shaped cutout portions 7 in a pair of upstanding lugs 6 on a base member 3 thereby forming knife-edge bearings for vertical pivotal movement of the pick-up arm, and the front edges of the slots are adapted to engage projections 9 and 10 on the lugs 6. A spring 17 extends between the rear end of plate 11 and a bolt 16 secured to a lug 15 on the base 3; the spring compensates for the weight of the pick-up arm, and its tension can be regulated by means of a nut 19 on the end of bolt 16. The base 3 is mounted on a spindle 4 so that the pick-up may move transversely, and a casing 2 for the mounting elements may be provided on the pick-up arm.
