Abstract

102,518. Downes, W. E. Jan. 13, 1916. Knot - holders. - The knotted end of a cord or rope for suspending pictures, display cards, or platforms for building purposes is retained in a sleeve of tapered form having a back-plate for attachment to a support or the article supported. The conical sleeve a and its back plate or attachment flanges b are bent out of sheet metal. The narrow end e of the sleeve may be shaped to present a smooth curved surface to the cord.
