Abstract

A magnetic storage element comprises a non-magnetic substrate, a magnetizable coating deposited by vacuum vapour deposition and an intermediate layer composed of an elastomer. The elastomer may be a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrole and the substrate a polyester or polyesteramide. The magnetic materials are those of Specifications 1,023,147, 1,023,149 and 1,023150.
