Abstract

1,022,816. Hydraulic or pneumatic apparatus. TAYLAIR CONTROL Ltd. Jan. 20, 1965 [Jan. 1, 1964], No. 23/64. Heading F1P. A control valve assembly, Figs. 2 and 4 (not shown), for controlling the supply and exhaust of hydraulic or pneumatic pressure fluid to a plurality of motors or other devices, comprises a port block 24 having ports 25 for connection to the motors, a valve block 30 containing control valves PP1-PP16 etc., and a lower circuit plate 22 having passages therein Figs. 8 and 9 (not shown), forming the connections between the control valves and the motor ports. The control valves PP1-PP16 are spool valves, some of which are manually operated and some of which are operated by pressure fluid supplied thereto by solenoid operated pilot valves SV1- SV9. The connections between the solenoid valves and the control valves are provided by passages in an upper circuit plate 20. Blanking plates 52, 54 are provided between the port block 24, the lower circuit plate 22, and the valve block 30 in order to separate some of the passages 40, 38 in the lower circuit plate 22 from grooves 44, 46 in the lower face of the valve block 30 and from grooves 36 in the upper face of the port block 24. Fluid is supplied to and returned from the assembly through ports provided in the ends of the port block 24.
