1,021,720. Mincers. LICENTIA PATENTVERWALTUNG G.m.b.H. Jan. 27, 1965 [Jan. 27, 1964], No. 3610/65. Heading A4C. A mincer has its cutting or shredding disc 11 releasably mounted in a U-shaped mounting frame 12 which slidably receives the disc 11 through a wall in a casing part 3 to engage in the semi-circular end of the frame 12 in its operative position. The disc 11 may be held in the V-frame 12 by a plane wall 6 of a second casing part 2, hooked, as at 16, 17 to the first casing part 3, and having a handle 4 and a motor 5 driving a pinion 7 drivingly engaging teeth on the upper periphery of the disc 11. Alternatively, the disc 11 may be releasably held in the frame 12 by a bolt or pin. The casing part 3 encloses a feed hopper 8 closed by a plug 10.
