Abstract

1,021,072. Containers for fragile articles. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO., Ltd. June 22, 1964 [March 28, 1963], No. 12358/63. Heading B8P. [Also in Division E2] Shock absorbing means for a container comprises an air inflated hose 1 placed between inner and outer containers 2, 6. One end of the tube has a sealing plug 3 and the other end has a pressure relief valve 5 and a charging valve 4. A pressure accumulator 7 is provided. The outer container 2 has a hole provided giving access to the valves. The hose may be a single or twin wire braided hose with a lining of synthetic material such as rubber. Clips (see Division E2) secure the hose to the outside of the inner container.
