Abstract

102,103. McNeil, A. R. April 15, 1916 Treatment of contents, designed to permit.-Tins, &c. in which cigars or other manufactured tobacco are packed are fitted with a device for keeping the contents moist. The moistener comprises a water tube 1, which is secured to the bottom of the tin or to a base 2 fitting inside the tin, and which is perforated at the top and provided with a partly-slit conical tube 9 for a sponge 11 or other absorbent pressed on to a shoulder 6.
