Abstract

The fabric for at least part of the wall of a container for wet sand is manufactured from threads which are composed of synthetic and natural fibres. Preferably the threads comprise a jute thread intertwined with two nylon threads but acrylic fibres or rayon intertwined with cotton may be used. When the water, used as a conveying medium only, has filtered away, the filled containers are used for making dikes or dams.
